Event Description
The Samburu Project 2019 Walk for Water
The Samburu Project is a non-profit based in Los Angeles, California. As a grassroots 501(c)(3) organization, our mission is to provide access to clean, safe drinking water as a foundation to development. Each spring, TSP hosts a fundraising walk to help support this cause and spread awareness of the world water crisis.
This year’s 10th Annual Hermosa Beach Walk for Water, will take place on April 14th. Walkers will meet at American Junkie where they will check in, receive t-shirts, create signs and get some pre-walk inspiration. From there, the 4-mile pier-to-pier walk begins! After our walkers are done they will be greeted with breakfast, music, raffles, goodie bags and more. Each walker is sponsored by friends and family to meet a minimum, personal fundraising goal of $100. This expands our network of water warriors outside of Southern California through the rest of the country and around the world. Bring a friend, bring your dog, and walk, run, bike or skate as we come together this Earth Day and raise money for clean water!
