Surfers Walk of Fame Induction Ceremony

Surfing is a large part of Hermosa’s Heritage. In order to honor our strong surfing history we annually recognize Hermosa’s surfing legends with the Surfer’s Walk of Fame, located on the Hermosa Beach Pier. Each year we hold a Surfer’s Walk of Fame Induction Ceremony to commemorate the newly chosen inductees. Each inducted surfer is acknowledged by the placement of their name engraved on bronze plaques embedded along the pier.

The Surfer’s Walk of Fame is funded by donations. Poster sales, and t-shirt sales are tax deductible and you may be provided with a tax i.d. number upon purchase. Merchandise is available at the Hermosa Beach Community Center, 710 Pier Avenue. The Surfer’s Walk of Fame Committee also has a donation program. The form is available here.
