ROCK YOUR PINK @ THE STANDING ROOM W/ CROW HILL BAND

In recognition of October Breast Cancer Awareness month:

The Standing Room in Hermosa Beach is partnering with local musicians and will host the 3^rd annual Rock Your Pink music fest to raise money for the Cancer Support Community of Redondo Beach Oct 12^th, 2019.

Headlining will be the rock group Crow Hill Band, a South Bay favorite that has been electrifying the LA area with their rock tributes covering several decades of music. Their lead singer, Laryssa Densmore is a breast cancer survivor. She started the Rock Your Pink annual fundraising benefit in hopes of giving back to the local community through music.

Deborah Bakke, the owner of The Standing Room, is also a breast cancer survivor - making this the perfect venue for sponsoring this event and helping to raise breast cancer awareness for our South Bay family. Deborah’s daughter Alycia and son Lowell who are the managers of The Standing Room, will also be playing a big part in orchestrating the night’s events.

Other bands joining the line-up include one of South Bay’s favorite R&B singer, “Charis Rey & Friends”, and youth band Battle of the Bands awardees, “Behind Schedule”.

The Cancer Support Community Redondo Beach organization is so important to so many people in our South Bay community, offering free programs for patients with cancer, their families and loved-ones. Their goal is to help as many cancer patients as possible recover from the physical and emotional effects of cancer.

Get ready for a great night of Rock n’ Roll celebrating the advancements made in fighting breast cancer and standing in solidarity with those currently impacted by cancer! Come on out South Bay and WEAR AND ROCK YOUR PINK at The Standing Room in support of this great cause!
