2019 King of the Harbor Skateboard Championships

South Bay Skateboarders, Thrashers and Shredders, the Redondo Beach Police Department is hosting the Third Annual “King of the Harbor Skateboard Championships.”

This year we partnered with Beachlife Backyard Games to make the event even bigger and better. This year will include a 5′ Half Pipe in the layout, pro-skaters including Tony Alva, Cindy Whitehead, and Mason Silva will be there. An adult competition will be held after the youth portion of the event. In addition to all of this, Beachlife will host an after party at Barney’s Beanery. Get your friends together and come out for a day of skateboarding fun at the Redondo Beach Pier. Yes, that’s right. Skateboarding on the Pier on the octagon open space near the Fun Factory. This a great spot that can only be skated legally one day each year at our event!

This event is open to all skaters of all levels. All registered participants will receive a FREE T-Shirt, Snacks and Water, Lunch, and Raffle Ticket. You can choose to just come out and skate all day at the Pier, or you can compete to win prizes and be crowned King of the Harbor! We will have music and lots of other cool stuff. Of course, helmets are required and you will need to register and sign the waiver.
