Shade Hotel Invites You to Pig Out Wwith POp on Father's Day: Sunday, June 21, 2015 - 12-4 p.m.

Shade Hotel in Manhattan Beach is inviting guests to literally pig out on Father's Day, Sunday, June 21, with a boar-atious Who's Your Daddy barbecue and beer garden.

The feast, prepared by Executive Chef Chris Garasic, will feature a Whole Spit Roasted Apple Cider Brined Yorkshire Hog, pulled pork sandwiches, and chicken habanero sausages and traditional sides including BBQ Black Beans, Chipotle Mac n Cheese, Jalapeno Potato Au Gratin and Grilled Creamed Corn as well as a variety of locally crafted beers provided by El Segundo Brewing Co. in the hotel's open-air courtyard. The event will also offer a kid's craft table where they can create a unique gift for dad.

"Summer is here and it is barbecue season," said Shaunna McKelvey, general manager of Shade. There is no better way to celebrate dad on his special day than with great family-oriented barbecue and a chance to sample some amazing brews. And, we are doing it in style. The Who's Your Daddy Father's Day event will take place from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. It is $40 per adult, which includes unlimited BBQ and 3 beer samples, and $15 per child 10 and under, excluding tax & gratuity.
