The Underground, named for the London Underground subway, brings a bit of Britain to the beach. There’s a classic low-key pub atmosphere, in which ex-pats and locals alike are bound to find a game of football (of the non-NFL variety) on one of the 20 plasmas as they down a pint and perhaps eat some bangers and mash. Straight-up bar food, like burgers and wings, are also a hit. Out back is the new Cruz Room, the Underground’s answer to the other Hollywood-esque lounges in town such as Blue 32 or The Shore.
