2016 State of the City presented by Torrance Chamber of Commerce & Providence Little Company of Mary

With more than 300 expected in attendance, the Honorable Mayor Patrick Furey’s annual address is one of the most anticipated events of the year; providing invaluable insight into the city’s ever-evolving economic landscape. In a September 7 interview with the Torrance Chamber, Mayor Furey hinted at a "surprise" he’ll unveil at this year’s event; although, he states, "it may not be quite as explosive as last year’s Independence Day fireworks announcement." The event will be highlighted by the presentation of the Torrance Chamber’s esteemed “2016 Distinguished Citizen of the Year” award to Kirk Rossberg of Torrance Bakery.
